This was a force. Loud, insistent and in flow. Players at the peak of their artistry with a leader and conductor in charge, directing the energy. Not a lot of details I remember as I write… only being totally enthralled in the moment — watching their movements, their playing, their connectedness. The ability of a band creating a musical noise as one and without them that force would not be possible.
